Niagara University To Begin Offering Graduate Business Courses In Buffalo

Niagara University’s College of Business Administration will begin offering graduate courses for new and existing students in downtown Buffalo on July 18.

Classes will be held at the Alliance Advisory Group headquarters, which are located at 600 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo. Each of the courses held in Buffalo will take five weeks to complete, with classes held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

The first course to be offered will be FIN 641 – Corporate Financial Policy and has no prerequisite. Taking place July 18-Aug. 17, the three-credit course is part of the curricula for NU’s MBA program and its M.S. program in finance. From Aug. 22-Sept. 21, the university will offer FIN 644 – Financial Risk Management at the same location.

Niagara University announced last month that an online MBA program will be available to students in the fall.

“We are continuously working to enhance our students’ learning experience in the most innovative, convenient and accessible ways possible,” said Dr. Tenpao Lee, interim dean of NU’s College of Business Administration. “The conduit through which we deliver the coursework does not alter our ultimate goal of actualizing our students’ potential to become future leaders and providing them with a competitive edge to outperform their peers.”

NU will continue to offer on-campus MBA concentrations in accountingbusiness administrationfinanceglobal business and supply chainhealthcare administrationhuman resource managementinternational managementstrategic management and strategic marketing management. Niagara also offers an M.S. program in finance.

Niagara University’s College of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB International, a hallmark of excellence in business education earned by less than 5 percent of the world’s business schools. In addition, its MBA programs are ranked among the best in the world by CEO Magazine.
