3 Business Faculty Received Best Paper Award at the International Vincentian Business Ethics Conference

Three faculty members from Niagara University’s Holzschuh College of Business Administration (Dr. Krieg Tidemann, Assistant Professor of Economics; Dr. Madhurima Bhattacharyay, Assistant Professor of Management; and Dr. Kristine Principe, Associate Dean for Curriculum and Program Development and Associate Professor of Economics) received the Patrick Primeaux Best Paper Award recognition at the 29th International Vincentian Business Ethics Conference. Their manuscript, Transformative Reimagination: A Framework for a Vincentian College of Business, draws on case studies from the authors’ Niagara classrooms to articulate the stakeholder and societal value of integrating mission throughout Vincentian business school’s curriculum and administration.

The International Vincentian Business Ethics Conference encourages interdisciplinary inquiry into the social and economic importance of business ethics within the contemporary world. IVBEC is co-facilitated by four Vincentian institutions of higher education: Niagara University, St. John’s University, Depaul University, and Dublin City University. To the best knowledge of the authors and IVBEC coordinators, this is the first time participating faculty from Niagara University have been chosen for the Patrick Primeaux Best Paper Award.
